Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in systems engineering or a similar role
Responsibilities
- Design, test, install, and maintain software and firmware for battery management systems (BMS)
- Develop and integrate debugging code in C/C++, assembly, or other low-level languages for embedded systems
- Collaborate closely with multiple teams to provide guidelines for software integration with custom hardware
- Create and optimize BMS systems along with real-time operating systems (RTOS)
- Perform tuning, debugging, and code testing and reviews to ensure compliance with timing, memory, and safety constraints
- Oversee the implementation and installation of network communication protocols and application software
- Lead the development and evaluation of software architecture, design specifications, and testing procedures
- Conduct simulations to analyze system performance and ensure software adheres to industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Engage with staff regarding design reviews and agile development processes
