Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Over 2 years of experience in corporate tax, ideally within a public accounting firm or multinational corporation
- Robust understanding of indirect tax, particularly in sales and use tax compliance and advisory
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities focused on process enhancement and efficiency
- Proficiency with data tools such as Snowflake or Alteryx is advantageous
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating across various teams and managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Responsibilities
- Ensure global indirect tax compliance across sales and use tax, VAT/GST, property tax, and other relevant taxes, guaranteeing accurate and prompt filings
- Collaborate with the Senior Tax Manager to advise on indirect tax issues and assist in planning for new business projects and product launches
- Oversee indirect tax audits by managing data requests, drafting technical position memos, and coordinating with internal and external parties to address findings
- Enhance and expand tax processes by improving internal controls, driving automation, and identifying pathways for increased efficiency
- Utilize data to proactively evaluate risks, discover insights, and support well-informed business decisions
- Keep abreast of changes in tax legislation and regulations, converting updates into actionable compliance strategies
