Quality Engineer - Testing & Validation

- Assistance in establishing, implementing, and sustaining various components of the quality management system - Analysis of process and product failures utilizing 8D RCCA/PDCA methodology to drive corrective and preventive action - Participation in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality system, including 5S, Kaizen, and Defect Reduction Teams - Development of training materials to raise quality awareness - Collaboration with Engineering and Production to ensure smooth transition of new products to Production and maintenance of existing products and processes - Support for Quality Inspectors and Quality Technicians to ensure compliance with customer and quality management system requirements - Conduct audits, compile audit reports, and ensure follow-up on corrective and preventive actions - Creation of assembly process SOPs and QA/QC checks - Assistance with developing and implementing SPC for relevant processes - Maintenance of company quality procedures and associated documentation - Support in planning and managing the quality of received, in-process, and outgoing products - Liaison with suppliers to swiftly resolve quality issues - Establishment of a defect data collection and reporting system for root cause analysis - Preparation of QA reports and facilitation of quality discussions in work cell meetings - Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal - Strong leadership abilities and capability to function effectively under pressure with minimal supervision
