Requirements
Must:
- Over 10 years of progressive experience in network, cloud, and application security within large, multinational organizations.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in designing and securing public cloud architectures.
- Possession of 2 or more professional certifications in cloud security or networking (e.g., CCSP, CCIE).
- Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; a masters degree is advantageous.
- Proven ability to establish and implement security controls aligned with enterprise risk while fostering innovation and timely delivery.
- In-depth expertise in cloud service models, automation, orchestration, and leading cloud provider ecosystems.
- Advanced understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including BGP, OSPF, VLAN, DNS, and TCP/IP.
- Practical experience designing and implementing security controls utilizing native cloud security services.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, cloud security posture management (CSPM), agile methodologies, and third-party cloud security solutions.
- Strong working knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as NIST and ISO.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to work independently and influence at all organizational levels.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders through consulting, negotiation, and relationship management.
- Experience working efficiently with globally distributed teams.
Responsibilities
- Define and spearhead the enterprise cloud (hybrid & multi-cloud) and network security architecture strategy in support of business goals, risk mitigation, best practice adherence, and technological advancement.
- Act as a senior security architect and advisor to leadership, influencing architectural decisions and promoting the utilization of standardized cloud security measures across Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS).
- Convert the enterprise risk appetite into practical, scalable security frameworks.
- Design and implement security control frameworks across international cloud and network environments, prioritizing control applications based on risk and business significance.
- Lead the solution architecture aimed at securing sensitive structured and unstructured data in cloud settings, encompassing encryption, access control, and data protection methodologies.
- Collaborate with security control owners, infrastructure, and application teams to modernize and deploy security solutions across multi-cloud environments.
- Work with IT teams to establish and implement secure configurations for hybrid cloud and the enterprise network.
- Guide and assist in secure migration projects from on-premises systems to cloud-native architectures.
- Establish and operationalize key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and reporting systems to evaluate the effectiveness, maturity, and impact of cloud and network security initiatives.
- Develop end-to-end processes for security configuration and vulnerability management related to cloud and network assets.
- Perform architecture-level risk assessments for cloud and network designs, providing recommendations and guidance.
- Assess emerging technologies and architectural trends to bolster security posture scalability and efficiency.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, standards, and configuration baselines.
- Engage in leadership steering committees to report and track progress, risks, and security outcomes.
