Requirements
Must:
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering
- 3+ years working with production systems
- 3+ years of experience in agentic AI
- Strong proficiency in production-grade GenAI and AI engineering
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, and agent frameworks
- Solid backend development skills, particularly in Python and API management
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD practices, and distributed systems
- Experience with observability tools like LangSmith or OpenTelemetry (preferred)
- Background in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (beneficial)
- Exposure to real-time or event-driven architectures (advantageous)

Responsibilities
- Construct and implement LLM-powered applications using platforms like OpenAI and Claude

- Execute LLM orchestration tasks such as tool/function calling, routing, and memory management
- Build scalable APIs and microservices leveraging Python with FastAPI
- Deploy applications on AWS, GCP, or Azure utilizing Docker and Kubernetes
- Ensure robust observability, monitoring, and performance optimization to manage latency and costs
- Integrate AI systems with enterprise platforms and external APIs

This role offers the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment based in Toronto, ON, with a compensation range of $175,266.85 to $247,448.13 per year.
