Requirements
Must:
- Over 5 years of experience in an IT Technician role or equivalent
- Robust understanding of workstations, servers, and networking systems
- Proficient in PDM, SolidWorks software, and SQL database architectures
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving basic computer issues
- Exceptional communication and customer service abilities
- Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team
- Keen attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Must be a US Citizen
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain workstation, server, and network hardware and software
- Monitor system health, performance, and availability across servers and applications
- Coordinate software updates and upgrades, testing new features to ensure compatibility prior to deployment
- Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes for servers and databases
- Create and maintain technical documentation for systems, applications, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing
- Participate in IT security audits and vulnerability assessments
- Provide on-call support for critical system incidents outside of regular business hours
- Administer, support, and troubleshoot the company ERP system based on HTML applications and Microsoft SQL Server
- Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of Microsoft SQL Server Standard instances
- Perform database maintenance tasks including backups, restores, patching, and basic performance monitoring
- Assist with SQL query troubleshooting, data validation, and addressing ERP-related data or performance issues
- Support SQL databases for SolidWorks, AutoCAD, PDM, and ERP systems
- Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders on ERP upgrades, fixes, and integrations
- Manage and maintain Azure Government Cloud environments
- Control user access, security measures, and compliance-related configurations
- Support connectivity and security of networked industrial equipment and systems
- Maintain an inventory of IT hardware, software, mobile devices, and VoIP phone systems
- Address and resolve IT support tickets while assisting end users
- Keep track of IT assets, hardware, and software inventory
- Travel as necessary between facilities
