Requirements
Must:
- 3+ years of experience in supporting macOS systems in enterprise settings.
- Familiarity with JAMF preferred; experience with other MDM platforms like AirWatch and Intune is acceptable.
- Database management skills are a plus.
- Proficient troubleshooting capabilities for endpoint, application, and user-related issues.
- Outstanding customer service and communication abilities.
- Experience in Shell/Bash/Python scripting is preferred.
- Prior federal IT support experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Must be eligible for DHS security clearance.
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications such as Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP), Apple Certified IT Professional (ACITP), Apple Device Support, and CompTIA Security+ are highly regarded.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for macOS-related incidents and service requests.
- Triage and resolve escalated help desk tickets involving macOS endpoints, JAMF, or mobility services.
- Assist in imaging, patching, application deployment, and account management for macOS devices.
- Collaborate with Tier 3/4 engineers to escalate complex issues and implement enterprise solutions.
- Develop, test, and provide support for Shell/Bash/Python scripts.
- Offer training and guidance to end users on macOS features, policies, and security best practices.
