Requirements
Must:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in supporting a product line.
- At least 3 years of project management experience, preferably as a project coordinator, scrum master, or similar role.
- Proven track record of managing products or projects effectively in work or educational settings for 3+ years.
- Experience with HL7 implementation and healthcare interoperability projects, at least 3 years.
- Familiarity with HL7 standards and FHIR guidelines.
- Basic understanding of data integration concepts essential.
- Knowledge of healthcare workflows is required.
- Capability to make business decisions and articulate requirements clearly.
- Ability to maintain and prioritize the product backlog according to business value.
- Provide prompt feedback to the team and accurately capture external feedback.
- Skills to prepare concise reports and summaries for executive stakeholders.
- Conflict resolution abilities and strong communication skills are necessary.
- Familiarity with iterative development and Agile methodologies.
- Deep understanding of scrum and related methodologies for team value enhancement.
- Proven ability to facilitate productive meetings.
- Strong background in project/product management, especially in leading cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily management of product activities; liaise with relevant groups to ensure timely product deliverables.
- Take full ownership of product performance within the Product Line; ensure client needs are met within specified timelines and guidelines.
- Convert product strategy into detailed specifications, prioritize tasks based on customer and business impact, and identify product gaps.
- Lead processes in the product lifecycle including research, competitor analysis, and product launch tasks.
- Serve as the Product Owner for the product team, overseeing and prioritizing the backlog to meet product requirements.
- Ensure that products are designed, developed, tested, documented, and upgraded as needed.
- Consult with Program Management on significant product decisions.
- Assess competitor offerings and identify opportunities to differentiate.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, production, and sales for successful product development and releases.
- Travel as required, following established travel guidelines.
