Requirements
Must:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
- 3-6 years of software development experience including architecture, object-oriented design, coding, and testing, with a strong grasp of the software development lifecycle
- Proficient in one or more of the following programming languages: Python, Java, or Go
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks like Angular or React
- Familiarity with web applications utilizing microservices architecture
- Knowledge of database technologies including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and others
- Proficiency with version control tools, CI/CD pipelines, and collaboration platforms such as GitLab
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Enthusiasm for researching complex issues and embracing new technologies
- Excellent organizational skills to manage competing priorities
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong presentation capabilities
- (Preferred) Experience with Jira and Confluence
- (Preferred) Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies for effective project management
- (Preferred) Experience with Docker, AWS, Azure, and Kubernetes for containerization, cloud services, and orchestration
- (Required) Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information Systems; other relevant degrees may be accepted based on experience

- Design, develop, and analyze software prototypes and applications within a collaborative team
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define objectives, assess capabilities, and prioritize requirements
- Engage in the full software development lifecycle including user story formulation, design, coding, automated testing, and operational support
- Create and implement new features to address changing end-user needs
- Utilize complex algorithms to deliver optimized solutions for end users
- Assess software maintainability and compliance with departmental standards and user requirements
- Foster continuous improvement through suggestions for processes and tools
- Provide mentorship to team members by sharing innovative concepts and best industry practices
