Requirements

Must:
- Proficiency in drafting and implementing Test Plans, Test Cases, and Test Scripts - Experience with Regression Testing methodologies and upkeep of regression test libraries - Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clinical and non-technical stakeholders, including medical professionals - Excellent organizational abilities and scheduling skills, capable of coordinating across various departments and time-sensitive clinical settings - Demonstrated skills in managing client relationships with a professional and empathetic approach - Bachelors degree in Computer Science - Preferred: Masters degree in Computer Science - Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) or Hospital Information System (HIS) platforms - Familiarity with hospital workflow processes or perioperative care environments - Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards, including HIPAA and HL7

Responsibilities

- Plan, coordinate, and carry out User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for web-based applications intended for Hospital Departments - Create detailed UAT Test Plans that adhere to project scopes, business needs, and clinical workflows relevant to surgery/procedure departments in hospitals - Establish UAT entry and exit criteria, test goals, timelines, resource needs, and risk evaluations that correspond to actual surgical department processes and other hospital functions - Collaborate with clinical end-users to perform UAT test scripts, documenting results accurately - Act as the primary liaison for clinical users and departmental stakeholders during the UAT process - Communicate proactively with Hospital Department personnel, including Surgeons, Nurses, Administrative Staff, and Department Managers, to organize and facilitate UAT sessions - Lead UAT sign-off meetings to secure formal approval from designated clinical representatives - Partner with Business Analysts, Project Managers, and Developers to achieve complete traceability between requirements and test scope - Identify and document testing environments, data requirements, and system dependencies - Create and update Regression Test Suites to verify that existing application functionalities remain intact after system modifications - Conduct smoke testing and initial checks of new application prototypes prior to UAT initiation - Document, track, and prioritize defects utilizing defect management software such as Jira or Azure DevOps - Clearly articulate defects with reproducible steps, expected versus actual outcomes, screenshots, and severity classifications - Collaborate with development teams to ensure prompt resolution of defects and oversee defect retesting - Generate UAT summary reports comprising test metrics, defect statistics, and go-live recommendations - Facilitate UAT orientation sessions for clinical users to explain testing objectives, processes, and their responsibilities - Manage UAT schedules, arranging testing sessions to accommodate clinical availability and operational challenges - Collect, document, and relay user feedback to development and project teams in a structured format
