Requirements
Must:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
- 1-3 years of experience in software development, emphasizing object-oriented design, coding, and/or testing, particularly in QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Strong comprehension of test development and execution
- Familiarity with performance, security, and usability testing
- Practical experience in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go
- Proficient with automated testing tools like Selenium or Cypress
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong enthusiasm for research, addressing complex challenges, and continuously learning new technologies
- Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Analyze and assess software prototypes and applications as part of a cross-functional team
- Collaborate with infrastructure, development, and QA teams, working closely with software developers and stakeholders to grasp software requirements and specifications
- Maintain comprehensive automated testing suites, detailed test plans, cases, scripts, reports, and other necessary documentation
- Identify software defects and issues, report them effectively, and provide detailed insights into occurrences
- Conduct root cause analysis of defects and take corrective actions as needed
- Perform performance testing through various methods such as load, stress, and scalability testing to confirm applications can manage expected user loads without deteriorating speed or stability
- Work with intricate algorithms to offer optimized solutions for end users
