Requirements
Must:
- I hold a college or university degree in computer science or a related field (a combination of education and experience is also acceptable).
- I have over 5 years of frontend experience in writing client-side JavaScript using frameworks like VueJS.
- I possess more than 5 years of experience in designing and implementing REST or GraphQL APIs.
- I have 5+ years of experience with relational databases (MySQL preferred).
- I have at least 2 years of experience with reactive front-end, server-driven UI stacks, such as Symfony UX or similar (e.g., Laravel Livewire).
- I possess 2+ years of experience with utility-first driven design systems (Figma + Tailwind preferred).
- I have more than 3 years of experience writing tests (unit, feature, acceptance/e2e) within popular testing frameworks.
- I am familiar with version control tools like Git.
- I understand software design patterns and object-oriented design principles.
- I have experience collaborating with other software engineers, QA analysts, product managers, and designers.
- I am a strong communicator and a seasoned architect who can lead discussions and constructive debates, aiding in technical decision-making.
- I possess a sense of ownership and a strong desire to address problems rather than merely shipping solutions.
- I have a hunger to make a positive impact on our team and the business.
Responsibilities
- I will work on meaningful projects, contributing in a full stack capacity across UX, API, and service layers.
- I will develop new features and enhancements, ensuring high scalability and performance in the cloud.
- I will write elegant and maintainable code while focusing on consistency and best practices.
- I will design and implement database schemas, as well as deployment and migration scripts.
- I will collaborate with peers on technical design, work estimation, and feature implementation related to data models, business processes, and user interfaces.
- I will work closely with product managers and designers to create delightful user interfaces and experiences.
- I will identify bottlenecks and performance implications to evaluate the cost of technical debt and its impact on the business.
- I will contribute ideas for improving job enjoyment, processes, and productivity within the engineering team.
- I will participate in peer code reviews and collaborate with talented engineers to enhance overall code quality.
- I will engage in scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint estimations/planning, sprint retrospectives, and project review and post-mortem meetings.
