Requirements
Must:
- 2+ years of experience in a technical support, helpdesk, or field service role, preferably involving hardware and/or software products.
- Proven ability to independently diagnose and resolve intermediate technical problems.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and components.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building strong relationships with teams and clients.
- Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; adept at managing multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Windows Operating Systems.
- Experience using ticketing systems for tracking issues (preferably Zendesk).
- Demonstrated commitment to thorough documentation and knowledge sharing.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary escalation point for Level 1 support tickets, solving complex hardware and software problems related to Spindle products.
- Oversee the triage and prioritization of incoming technical support requests, ensuring adherence to SLA standards and effective resolution routing.
- Review, process, and provide expert advice on Spindle hardware support orders.
- Offer both remote and on-site assistance for complex technical issues across various hardware and software environments.
- Guide and mentor Level 1 Support Specialists, sharing best practices on troubleshooting methods, documentation protocols, and customer engagement.
- Manage escalation workflows by identifying recurring issues and collaborate with Engineering, IT, and Development teams for root-cause fixes.
- Keep detailed records of all support interactions, including actions taken, solutions offered, and contributions to the knowledge base.
- Ensure all support tickets are in compliance with SLAs and consistently surpass customer expectations.
- Recognize opportunities to enhance support processes and contribute to team efficiency improvement efforts.
- Promote high standards of customer service within the support team through leading by example.
