Requirements
Must:
- One year to less than two years of experience in a relevant field
- Proficient in computer and technology knowledge
- Familiarity with virtualization, device drivers, and networking software
- Experience with networking hardware and security software
- Competent in data analysis software and MS Office
- Knowledge of MS Windows and related operating systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the access and utilization of computer networks
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and manage LANs, WANs, mainframe networks, workstations, and peripheral devices
- Monitor the performance of computer systems and networks
- Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating systems
- Provide technical support and problem-solving for network users
- Implement security protocols for data, software, and hardware
- Perform routine network start-up and shutdown while keeping control records
- Execute data backup and disaster recovery operations
- Set up LANs and Internet connections
- Implement network traffic and security monitoring software while optimizing server performance
- Manage web-server backup and recovery processes
