Must:
We require a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, along with 3-5 years of professional software development experience. You should have at least 2 years of practical experience with PHP.
In terms of technical skills, you should possess advanced proficiency in PHP Laravel, including Eloquent ORM, Blade templating, and the Laravel ecosystem. Knowledge of MySQL for database optimization and design, as well as front-end development skills in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 (with modern frameworks such as Vue.js or React being preferred), is essential. Familiarity with version control systems like GIT and GitHub, as well as experience in RESTful API development and third-party integrations, is also required.
Preferred qualifications include experience in server administration within Linux environments, cloud platforms (AWS, Digital Ocean, Azure), utility billing systems, and background in legacy system modernization and data migration.

Responsibilities
As a Mid-Level PHP Laravel Developer, you will be responsible for leading intricate client projects and maintaining vital utility billing platforms that serve government clients across the nation. Your primary duties will encompass:
- Developing and managing projects from initial conception through to deployment with minimal oversight.
- Contributing to architectural decisions and ensuring comprehensive system knowledge.
- Researching and resolving technical challenges, along with providing support for inquiries.
- Recommending, designing, and implementing testing strategies to ensure quality assurance.
- Creating and maintaining custom websites and applications for clients.
- Collaborating on technological roadmaps and strategic system enhancements.
You will be expected to deliver complex projects on time and within predefined scopes while maintaining high coding standards for full-stack applications and accurately tracking billable hours along with project time allocation.
Description
This is a full-time position with a 40+ hour workweek, typically following a Monday to Friday schedule. Occasional travel may be required for client implementations and training sessions. We prioritize our clients and are passionate about delivering timely solutions. The work environment can be sedentary, requiring extended computer use and regular communication with clients via phone or video. You should be able to manage multiple complex projects while working under deadline pressure, with the capability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
