Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 3-5 years of professional experience in software development
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with PHP
- Advanced proficiency in PHP Laravel, including Eloquent ORM and Blade templating
- Strong knowledge of MySQL, including query optimization and design
- Experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frameworks (preferably Vue.js or React)
- Familiarity with version control systems like GIT and collaborative workflows
- Background in RESTful API development and third-party integrations
- Preferred experience in server administration and Linux environments
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Digital Ocean, or Azure
- Experience with utility billing systems or enterprise software is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Responsibilities
- Lead complex client projects and ensure timely delivery of mission-critical billing platforms
- Oversee development projects from inception to deployment with minimal oversight
- Engage in architectural discussions and maintain thorough system knowledge
- Research and troubleshoot technical challenges while providing support
- Recommend and implement design strategies for quality assurance testing
- Create and sustain customized client websites and applications
- Collaborate on the technology roadmap and drive strategic system enhancements
- Maintain high standards of code quality across full-stack applications
- Accurately log billable hours and allocate project time appropriately
