Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Design, Anthropology, or a related discipline - 5 years of experience performing UX research in digital product settings (e-commerce or mobile app preferred) - Proven ability to proactively manage, scope, and execute comprehensive research initiatives - Strong expertise in usability testing, qualitative interviewing, survey design, and data synthesis - Skilled in using tools such as Figma, Dscout, Dovetail, Marvin, or comparable software - Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication abilities - Team-oriented mindset with capability to work independently - Familiarity with agile product development processes and UX design methodologies - Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment - Genuine interest in client engagement and a strong curiosity about user behavior

Responsibilities

- Define and implement user research utilizing both qualitative and quantitative techniques, including usability tests, diary studies, surveys, interviews, and concept evaluations - Analyze findings and distill them into clear, actionable insights that shape product strategies, feature development, and design direction - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate guest feedback throughout the product development lifecycle - Convey research findings through storytelling, journey maps, personas, and presentations to stakeholders - Present findings in a manner that promotes clarity, alignment, and progress toward business and user objectives - Independently oversee and prioritize various research projects while adhering to team objectives and timelines - Contribute to the creation and documentation of research best practices and standards - Facilitate cross-functional workshops, ideation sessions, and knowledge-sharing sessions utilizing research insights - Assist in optimizing, maintaining, and managing research tools - Collaborate closely with product design, project management, analytics, and optimization teams during the research phase to ensure alignment - Continuously investigate new research methodologies and stay informed on UX trends and emerging tools - Support special initiatives related to personalization, loyalty, and in-store experiences - Provide mentorship or peer coaching to junior team members or interns when suitable
