Requirements
Must:
- PMP certification (PMI) is mandatory.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience managing technical software projects in hardware, embedded systems, or RF environments.
- Proficiency in using ClickUp for planning and managing dependencies.
- Demonstrated capability in establishing and overseeing sprints; strong skills in prioritization, delegation, and organization.
- Exceptional communication skills; able to clearly explain trade-offs, risks, and decisions to both engineering and leadership teams.
Responsibilities
- Transform requests into epics, user stories, and tasks.
- Define acceptance criteria and readiness for testing.
- Confirm scope, dependencies, and metrics for success.
- Create and manage Gantt schedules using ClickUp.
- Identify dependencies and the critical path; manage slack effectively.
- Maintain up-to-date dashboards; flag risks and delays.
- Organize and oversee sprints; conduct daily stand-up meetings.
- Enforce task prioritization within sprints; monitor burndown charts.
- Facilitate follow-ups on incidents and bugs; capture lessons learned.
- Coordinate workflows with RF compliance and testing labs.
- Align software development tasks with testing protocols and lab sequences.
- Monitor documentation, approvals, and equipment readiness.
- Issue weekly status updates on schedule variances, risks, and overall readiness.
- Lead change control and decision-making reviews.
- Ensure alignment among executives and cross-functional teams.
- Standardize templates and operating procedures.
- Track key performance indicators: predictability, defect leakage, and Mean Time to Recovery (MTTR).
- Keep program trackers and risk registers updated.
Description
We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to lead software-focused projects that support RF radio testing and compliance. This role will involve collaboration with software engineering, RF, lab operations, and compliance teams to effectively translate business requests into clearly defined initiatives. Our ideal candidate will ensure project timelines are met with high-quality outputs in alignment with our internal milestones. The position is located on-site in Fremont, CA, for a duration of 3 months.
