Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in embedded software testing within a regulated industry
- Strong passion for patient care and safety
- Experience with various software development lifecycle methodologies including Agile, Iterative, and V-Model in a regulated environment
- Ability to perform regression analysis, feature analysis, requirements engineering, and use-case development
- Effective communication skills for discussing defects and sharing insights with peers
Responsibilities
- Develop critical care testing for our Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy PrisMax device using an Agile (Scrum) methodology
- Work with a real-time embedded software system and complex multi-therapy electro-mechanical platforms
- Create test protocols and conduct detailed software tests including scripted, ad hoc, and exploratory testing
- Update tests in MicroFocus ALM and participate in peer reviews
- Estimate work, document tests, and investigate high-priority field issues
- Collaborate with architects, developers, testers, systems engineers, and cross-functional teams to ensure the safest solution possible
