Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines and modern data infrastructure.
- Proficient in SQL and Python programming languages.
- Familiarity with distributed data engineering tools such as Databricks or Spark.
- Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or similar.
- Strong understanding of data governance, security, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience enhancing storage, partitioning strategies, and optimizing query performance.
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and orchestration tools.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines.
- Create and manage workflows that transfer Early Childhood program data from source systems to warehouses, data lakes, and analytics platforms.
- Develop data ingestion and transformation processes to accommodate growing data volumes and complex analytic needs.
- Improve data storage and query performance through optimization of partitioning, indexing, and processing frameworks.
- Manage cloud-based data platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Oversee data management tools such as BigQuery and data lakes like Amazon S3.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, consistency, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Implement security practices and validation rules to safeguard data integrity.
- Lead integration of data from APIs and third-party systems, supporting machine learning deployment.
- Coordinate the creation of dashboards and reports for stakeholders, ensuring timely submissions of required reports.
- Develop documentation for data pipelines and foster continuous improvement initiatives.
