Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related field
- At least 8 years of experience in IT, with a minimum of 2-3 years in a technical leadership role
- Relevant certifications such as CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert), JNCIE (Juniper Networks Certified Expert), or equivalent preferred
- Proficient in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams in dynamic, global settings
- Proficient in managing multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
- In-depth knowledge of enterprise network technologies, including LAN and SD-WAN
- Advanced understanding of routing protocols like BGP and OSPF, as well as switching technologies
- Experience in EVPN-VXLAN deployments for scalable data center networking
- Familiarity with Cisco/Arista platforms, including configuration and optimization
- Robust expertise in wireless network design and management
- Advanced skills in automation using tools such as Ansible, Python, and RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of network monitoring and troubleshooting tools for operational excellence
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction and hands-on leadership for network engineering initiatives
- Design and implement advanced network solutions including SD-WAN and EVPN-VXLAN on Arista and Cisco platforms
- Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize routing protocols like BGP and OSPF to ensure efficient network performance
- Architect and manage wireless infrastructure, focusing on MIST solutions for high availability
- Develop automation workflows using Ansible and Terraform to enhance network performance
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align network strategies with business objectives
- Mentor junior engineers, promoting a culture of continuous learning and excellence
- Maintain thorough documentation for network designs and compliance with industry standards
- Assess emerging technologies to drive innovation within the network
- Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours support, ensuring network reliability
