Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as an Automated QA Engineer or QA Analyst with a strong grasp of QA methodologies and tools
- At least 5 years of experience in the field
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Capability to work collaboratively as well as independently
- Experience with automated testing tools, such as Selenium, is a plus
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is an advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bilingual in English and French
Responsibilities
- Responsible for designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions
- Collaborate with the development team to understand product requirements and specifications
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases covering both functional and non-functional requirements
- Execute manual tests to ensure products meet specified standards
- Identify, document, and track bugs using JIRA until resolution
- Conduct thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Analyze test results to detect and report defects and inconsistencies
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Create and maintain detailed testing documentation including test plans, test cases, and testing scripts
- Continuously assess and recommend improvements to QA processes and methodologies
Description
We are seeking a skilled Automated Quality Assurance Engineer for a 4-month contract, offering a hybrid work schedule of 2 days on-site in Montréal, QC. This role involves working within the pharmaceutical healthcare industry, where you will play an integral part in maintaining product quality. We offer competitive compensation of $70.00-$75.00 per hour for a commitment of 35 hours per week.
