Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- 7-10+ years of direct experience as an ETL Developer in a data warehouse setting, covering ETL design, development, testing, and deployment
- Strong comprehension of database migration, coupled with expertise in Databases and ETL processes
- Proficiency in SQL Server and T-SQL, including the creation of Complex Stored Procedures, Performance Tuning, Debugging, and Optimization
- Familiarity with SSIS is advantageous
- Skilled in Data Mapping
- Capable of transforming business logic into SQL code
- Knowledgeable in SQL Server database management, Data analysis, Data migration, Salesforce SOQL, and PL/SQL scripting
- Ability to operate autonomously or as part of a team with minimal supervision
- Competent in managing multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and sustain ETL processes focused on SQL Server to facilitate data migration to Salesforce
- Conduct development lifecycle activities, such as analyzing and interpreting data sources and targets to formulate effective data migration strategies
- Create data migration solutions from scratch or modify existing components
- Implement data pipelines, schedule and execute jobs, and automate migration tasks
- Write, code, and troubleshoot according to established standards; engage in code reviews as necessary
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing to confirm data accuracy and integrity
- Transition ETL processes to various environments
- Document ETL processes, data mappings, and migration solutions comprehensively
- Act proactively to communicate the status of completed work, remaining estimates, and challenges impacting progress
- Collaborate with internal (architects, analysts, DBAs, etc.) and/or external stakeholders as required to resolve issues
- Participate in the assessment and identification of new technologies
