Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a PHP Developer.
- Strong expertise in Laravel, JavaScript, MS SQL, HTML, CSS, jQuery, and RESTful APIs.
- Comprehensive understanding of security concepts, OWASP Top 10, and secure coding practices.
- Experience with Azure.
- Proficiency in Git.
- Certification as a Secure Web Application Engineer (or equivalent certification) is a plus.
- Fluency in both French and English.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Responsibilities
- I will design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework.
- I will implement and integrate RESTful APIs to ensure smooth system communication.
- I will utilize MS SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery for both front-end and back-end development.
- I will apply security best practices and ensure adherence to OWASP Top 10 guidelines.
- I will collaborate in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, code reviews, and testing activities.
- I will leverage experience with Azure.
- Familiarity with Snowflake is considered an asset.
- I will use Git for deployment and version control processes.
- I will communicate effectively in French and English with stakeholders and team members.
Description
We are seeking a Bilingual Senior PHP Developer to join our team on a 6-month contract. This position requires developing secure and scalable web applications within a fast-paced Agile environment. I will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that align with industry security standards. This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring 2 days per week at our office in Montreal, Quebec. The anticipated pay for this position starts at $60.00 per hour, with expected hours of 37.5 per week. Additional benefits include casual dress code and a collaborative work atmosphere.
