Requirements
Must:
- Ability to handle and manipulate components with manual dexterity, including masking parts
- Competence in following instructions accurately and executing repetitive tasks
- Proficiency in reading and writing in English
- Capability to interpret blueprints is preferred
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment; experience with powder coating is advantageous
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Familiarity with a machine shop environment; exposure to dust, grease, and metal shavings is typical
- Required personal protective equipment includes safety glasses, steel-toed shoes/boots, hearing protection, and possibly a mask in the painting area

Responsibilities
- Properly hang components to be processed on the powder coating line
- Utilize compressed air to eliminate excess water from parts
- Mask specific areas and threads according to customer specifications to keep them finish-free
- Inspect, pack, and document completed products, transferring them to the subsequent department
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness in the paint line area
- Supervise scrap and rework processes
- Ensure clear aisles by moving pallets into the paint line as needed
Description
We are located in Clarence, NY and are looking for a dedicated Paint Line Laborer to join our team. We offer competitive pay ranging from $17 to $21 per hour, depending on experience. Our work environment may involve challenges such as dust and grease; therefore, the use of personal protective equipment is mandatory. This role requires reliable transportation and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting, including possible overtime and weekends.
