Requirements
Must:
- I require candidates to have at least one year of technology-related experience.
- You should demonstrate interpersonal and communication abilities while working with a diverse range of individuals.
- I seek individuals who are pursuing an associate's or bachelor's degree in a technology field or possess comparable experience.
- Candidates must have the capability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds for a distance of 10 feet.
- You should be willing to travel up to 30% of the time for work-related purposes.
- A valid driver's license and a dependable means of transportation are necessary.
- You must be eligible to work legally within this country.
- Candidates must be able to train in person at our downtown Portland office.
Responsibilities
- You will gain experience and insight into various roles and responsibilities in the IT sector.
- I want you to actively engage as a member of our IT client services team, which oversees the deployment, management, support, and testing of end-user computing systems.
- Collaboration with colleagues will be essential to develop and propose innovative methods of promoting products, services, and marketing materials.
- Establishing and nurturing positive, cooperative, and team-oriented relationships with coworkers, supervisors, managers, and other contacts is crucial.
- You will provide remote and limited on-site technical IT support to client sites nationwide as needed.
- Supporting corporate PCs, associated hardware/peripherals, and videoconferencing systems as assigned will be part of your duties.
- Assistance with client software and software installations will be required.
- Working within our PC deployment framework and toolset to manage incidents, problems, requests, changes, assets, and knowledge articles is expected.
- You should support Helpdesk activities whenever possible and contribute to the successful completion of business-driven and internal IT projects.
- Identifying, researching, and recommending IT process improvements or new technologies to enhance efficiency and benefit the business will be part of your role.
- Quick responses to emergency situations, including direct action and coordinating communication with IT staff, vendors, and business partners during and outside of regular business hours, are essential.
- You may also be tasked with other responsibilities as assigned.
- There is potential for full-time employment upon completion of the internship if applicable.

Preferred Qualifications: - I prefer candidates with an associate's or bachelor's degree in information/computer technology, business systems, or a related technical field. - Any of the following certifications are a plus: CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certification; Microsoft MCP, MTA, MSCA, MCSA or MCSE certification; or ITIL Foundation.
