Requirements

Must:
- Proven experience designing and configuring solutions within the SharePoint Online Modern experience. - Strong ability to create responsive, intuitive user interfaces and comprehensive documentation. - Excellent communication skills with a talent for building relationships and influencing stakeholders. - Experience in developing and supporting Power Automate workflows that connect SharePoint with Microsoft 365 services, including Teams, Outlook, and Planner. - Background in designing and managing Power Apps canvas applications for business processes and data collection. - Experience in creating, building, and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards linked to SharePoint Online, Excel, and other approved data sources. - Knowledge of integrating SharePoint and Power Platform solutions with third-party APIs or REST endpoints through low-code connectors and configurations. - Strong understanding of SharePoint Online architecture, content management, permissions, and workflows. - Familiarity with SharePoint governance, security protocols, data classification, and best practices in a Department of Defense environment. - Experience in agile or iterative development methodologies. - Proven problem-solving capabilities with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and enhancing solutions. - Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects at once. - Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a focus on delivering user-friendly solutions. - Previous experience supporting DOD client environments is advantageous. - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or a minimum of seven years of relevant professional experience. - Hands-on experience as a SharePoint Developer supporting SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint Server environments. - Proficient in SharePoint Framework, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and REST APIs. - Demonstrable experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. - Solid working knowledge of SharePoint administration, workflows, and permissions management. - Familiarity with Microsoft 365 services including Teams and OneDrive.

Responsibilities

- Design, configure, and maintain SharePoint Online sites, lists, libraries, content types, site columns, views, and modern pages to align with business needs and promote collaboration. - Administer SharePoint Online permissions at the site, library, and item levels, ensuring compliance with Department of Defense security and data classification standards. - Develop SharePoint Online solutions utilizing out-of-the-box features, JSON formatting, and Microsoft Power Platform tools to enhance business workflows and user satisfaction. - Create logical, user-friendly dashboards and pages in SharePoint Online and link them with Power Platform and Power BI solutions as necessary. - Build, optimize, and sustain Power Automate cloud flows to automate essential business activities, including notifications, approvals, task routing, and data syncing across SharePoint Online and other Microsoft 365 services. - Design and maintain Power Apps canvas applications for diverse business needs, from simple forms to medium-complexity projects. - Develop and sustain business-oriented Power BI reports and dashboards using SharePoint Online, Excel, and other authorized data sources, applying data modeling and DAX calculations. - Integrate Power BI reports and dashboards into SharePoint Online modern pages and Microsoft Teams for accessible analytics while managing security according to data sensitivity. - Utilize REST APIs and other approved integration methods, mainly through Power Automate and Power Apps, to interact with external data sources. - Apply knowledge of modern web technologies like JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS to implement customizations when necessary, following platform and security guidelines. - Engage in requirements discussions with senior team members, project managers, and stakeholders to convert mission needs into effective SharePoint structures and workflows. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients throughout the solution lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, testing, deployment, and documentation. - Translate business needs into technical specifications, data models, workflow diagrams, and comprehensive documentation. - Develop user-friendly interfaces to boost productivity and align with mission objectives. - Offer user-facing support, including training sessions and one-on-one assistance for SharePoint sites, Power Automate flows, Power Apps, and Power BI reports. - Stay updated with advancements in SharePoint Online, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI, maintaining an understanding of modern SharePoint development patterns.
