IT applications analyst - IT support/development

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify current and future needs and propose technological solutions to enhance business processes - Develop and present innovative strategies that leverage technology to address organizational challenges - Analyze and document existing business processes and system configurations to outline functional requirements and draft specifications for system enhancements - Offer actionable recommendations to stakeholders for improving processes related to systems or software - Translate user needs into new application features that support organizational growth - Develop, resolve issues, and manage IT business applications and systems - Work in conjunction with fellow IT staff to establish specifications for application projects - Customize and configure interfaces for CRM, ERP, BI, and other systems - Manage daily and strategic administrative tasks associated with business application systems (e.g., data corrections, setting changes, testing, user permissions, and error analysis) - Foster relationships and effective communication with other departments to coordinate business application projects (e.g., requirements gathering, business needs assessments, project scheduling, development, deployment, user acceptance testing, and system launches) - Provide training and ongoing support to new and existing users regarding IT business application functionalities - Liaise with third-party consultants to address application issues or advance application projects - Identify areas for process standardization and system functionality optimization across the organization - Participate in application implementation and upgrades, encompassing requirements gathering, documentation, testing, and deployment assistance - Create and maintain user manuals, documentation, and process materials to promote knowledge sharing and system consistency - Offer training and daily support to end users to ensure successful system adoption and utilization - Monitor application performance and engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability, scalability, and user experience
