Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline. - Over 3 years of professional software development experience (or equivalent practical work). - Proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript/React. - Experience troubleshooting software deployments in Linux settings, including service configuration, logging, and dependency management. - Practical experience with containerization of applications using Docker (including builds, images, registries, volumes, and networks). - Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work independently while closely collaborating with a team. - Strong written and verbal communication skills appropriate for technical discussions and operational troubleshooting. Preferred Qualifications: - Masters degree in a relevant field. - Working knowledge of RF/satcom principles and collaboration with RF engineers. - Familiarity with SATCOM geolocation methodologies and/or RF signal processing techniques. - Experience with Software Defined Radios (SDRs) and/or hardware-in-the-loop integration. - Experience in deploying and managing services using Docker Swarm (including service stacks, overlay networking, secrets/configs, rolling updates, and scaling). - Familiarity with messaging systems and inter-process messaging frameworks like RabbitMQ and ZeroMQ (ZMQ), along with document databases such as MongoDB. - Background in embedded development and/or hardware interfacing. - Experience in building and maintaining web applications (both frontend and/or backend) in environments with operational constraints.

Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and enhance software components and algorithms that support RF/SATCOM interference detection, characterization, and geolocation. - Engage in full-stack development (backend services, APIs, UI as necessary) and automation scripts to boost reliability and optimize operator workflows. - Assist in software installations on rack equipment: troubleshoot networking, service-to-service connections, and interfaces with hardware devices. - Integrate and adjust software solutions in settings that include both legacy subsystems and new services. - Take part in system/software design initiatives and help shape the evolving architecture for future client increments. - Conduct activities throughout the software development lifecycle: requirements analysis, design, coding, unit/integration testing, debugging, and documentation. - Support integration and testing events across systems of various compositions (software services, networking, RF hardware, and external interfaces). - Stay informed about current technology trends, tools, and standards pertinent to secure software delivery in RF/satcom environments. - Collaborate effectively with internal teams and subcontractor partners; communicate technical updates, issues, and recommendations articulately.
