Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent experience
- Over 10 years of experience managing initiatives within a digital environment, ideally in manufacturing
- Demonstrated expertise in applying both traditional and agile project management frameworks to meet project objectives
- Strong background in managing large, complex projects
- Training and certifications in traditional project management and/or agile methodologies are preferred
- Advanced understanding of IT standards, policies, and procedures
- Proficient with tools for managing and reporting team progress
- Excellent decision-making, collaboration, and conflict management skills
- Ability to coach fellow project managers and business team members on the appropriate methodologies
- Capacity to handle multiple priorities and navigate competing deadlines efficiently
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to risk management
- Exceptional relationship-building capabilities with management and stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Oversee the delivery of multiple strategic initiatives across various departments
- Understand processes and challenges within web development projects or COTS solutions implementation
- Utilize traditional project management techniques and Agile frameworks effectively
- Personally ensure that project value is delivered by managing milestones, issues, and risks
- Facilitate visibility into project activities and milestones while adhering to agile development practices
- Collaborate with other digital delivery teams to align ongoing efforts
- Actively participate in solution definition and remove project roadblocks
- Gain complete familiarity with the functional areas and assist project teams in meeting business objectives
- Proactively raise challenges requiring cross-team coordination or leadership involvement
- Establish a regular communication cadence, conduct effective meetings, and manage follow-ups
- Build strong relationships with IT and business stakeholders
- Guide the team in identifying development opportunities and encourage enhancements in performance
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, and vendor teams; oversee vendor selection and contracts
- Ensure alignment of project objectives with the overall IT strategy and roadmap
- Implement project or framework-specific governance
