Requirements
Must:
- Passion for computers, software, and technology
- Eagerness to learn and explore new systems
- Strong problem-solving skills to find effective solutions
- Advanced knowledge of troubleshooting with networks, servers, and workstations
- Positive attitude, preferring motivation over frustration
- BA/BS in computer science or related field (preferred)
- Associates degree in technology or 2-5 years of IT experience (required)
Responsibilities
- Manage Tier 1 help desk escalations via tickets and phone calls
- Follow up on outstanding requests to ensure timely resolution
- Provide remote and on-site assistance in various environments
- Respond to calls within your queue and escalate issues accordingly
- Oversee and monitor customer assets to maintain accurate inventory records
- Perform additional duties as assigned when necessary
- Communicate technical information clearly, both verbally and in writing, to diverse end-users
- Support IT infrastructure issues and provide related services for Microsoft technologies and virtualization solutions
- Administer hosted and cloud solutions tailored to customer needs
- Assist in the management of remote monitoring systems and address alerts appropriately
- Document maintenance of all computer systems and network infrastructure
- Keep customers informed regarding incident progress and any service changes
