Requirements
Must:
- Proficiency in digital design tools including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Acrobat, and Adobe After Effects.
- Strong grasp of interaction design principles along with visual design fundamentals such as typography and color theory.
- Experience with web development languages including HTML5, CSS3 (SCSS/Less), JavaScript (AJAX), and PHP; familiarity with frameworks like Angular or React is preferred.
- Knowledge of content management systems like WordPress or Drupal; previous experience in website maintenance is a plus.
- Ability to create motion graphics and animations using Adobe After Effects or similar software for enhanced visual storytelling.
- Data analysis skills utilizing Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics to assess user behavior metrics for continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with UX research methodologies including wireframing (Balsamiq), prototyping (Axure), information architecture (Visio), and usability testing.
- Understanding of web accessibility standards to ensure inclusive digital experiences for all users.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git; knowledge of Node.js or Redux is beneficial for front-end development tasks.
- Excellent communication abilities to collaborate effectively across teams including marketing specialists and developers; adept at managing multiple projects concurrently.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop captivating website layouts, interfaces, and interactive features using tools like Adobe XD, Figma, InVision, and Sketch.
- Create visually appealing assets such as logos, icons, banners, and motion graphics to elevate website aesthetics and maintain branding consistency.
- Implement responsive designs employing HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, SCSS, Less, and JavaScript to guarantee optimal performance across various devices.
- Develop front-end components using frameworks such as React, Angular, Node.js, Redux, and AJAX to create dynamic web applications.
- Optimize websites following SEO best practices and utilize analytics tools like Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics to boost visibility and user engagement.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design choices that enhance user experience (UX) and information architecture.
- Maintain existing websites through updates, troubleshooting, maintenance tasks, and ensuring compliance with web accessibility standards.
- Collaborate with developers on backend website integration using PHP, MySQL, Drupal, SharePoint, or other CMS platforms like WordPress and Telerik.
- Stay updated with industry trends in digital marketing, UI/UX design principles, data analysis skills, and emerging technologies to constantly enhance design quality.
