Requirements
Must:
- Extensive experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role with a strong portfolio showcasing analytics projects.
- Expertise in Tableau, Power BI, R, Python, SQL (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle), and VBA for data analysis and visualization.
- Practical experience in database design, management, and querying across diverse platforms, including Oracle and SQL Server.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, SDLC processes, and project management principles.
- Strong analytical capabilities with the skill to translate intricate datasets into clear and actionable insights.
- Preferably knowledgeable in Bash (Unix shell) scripting.
- Excellent business analysis aptitude paired with strong communication skills to effectively present findings to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain engaging dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau and Power BI to illustrate crucial metrics and trends.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis leveraging SQL, R, Python, and various analytical tools to uncover patterns and opportunities.
- Design and optimize databases, ensuring data integrity and efficient querying, particularly within Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle environments.
- Assist in project management within Agile frameworks, contributing meaningfully to SDLC processes for data-related initiatives.
- Perform business analysis to grasp stakeholder requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
- Generate thorough documentation of database designs, workflows, and analysis methodologies using Visio or comparable tools.
- Automate data processing activities using scripting languages such as VBA and Bash (Unix shell) to enhance operational efficiency.
- Work collaboratively with cross-departmental teams to execute solutions that adhere to project timelines and objectives.
- Ensure adherence to data governance standards and uphold data security measures.
