Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar technical discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience. - A minimum of 5 years in a customer-focused technical role such as Technical Support, Technical Account Manager (TAM), DevOps, or Cloud Engineer. - Practical experience managing workloads on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). - Fundamental knowledge of the AI/ML lifecycle, comprising data preparation, training, deployment, and monitoring. - Excellent troubleshooting abilities and experience in supporting production environments. - Google Cloud certifications like Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Data / ML Engineer are preferred. - Familiarity with Vertex AI, BigQuery ML, BigQuery, or Looker would be advantageous. - Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools, such as Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager. - Knowledge of data orchestration and data operations tools (e.g., Cloud Composer / Airflow). - Proven ability to express technical performance and risks in business-impact terminology. - Bilingual in French and English is an asset.

Responsibilities

- Serve as the technical owner for client GCP environments, managing IAM, networking (VPCs), security controls, and compliance. - Monitor system health, uptime, and performance, acting as the primary escalation point for cloud-related incidents and performance challenges. - Oversee capacity planning, quotas, and scaling strategies across Compute Engine and related services to optimize performance and cost. - Ensure cloud environments adhere to GCP and our best practices for reliability, security, and cost efficiency. - Supervise AI and ML workloads in production, focusing on latency, throughput, and reliability, while proactively identifying risks like model drift or data quality concerns. - Maintain and enhance data ingestion and processing pipelines (e.g., Cloud Dataflow, Pub/Sub) ensuring models receive high-quality data continuously. - Support ongoing improvement initiatives, including API upgrades and adopting newer GCP or Vertex AI features. - Ensure uniformity between development, staging, and production environments. - Define the technical roadmap for assigned clients, ensuring migration milestones, optimization projects, and deployment timelines are achieved. - Prepare and conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) concentrating on platform stability, performance trends, cost efficiency, and future-oriented suggestions. - Simplify complex technical metrics into clear, business-focused insights for various stakeholders. - Develop and sustain runbooks, documentation, and operational resources customized for each clients environment. - Collaborate with internal delivery, cloud, security, and leadership teams to enhance service quality and maturity.
