Junior Technical Support Engineer - Google Cloud

- Support day-to-day operations of client GCP environments, including IAM, networking (VPCs), compute, and storage services. - Monitor system health, uptime, and performance using established tools and dashboards. - Assist with incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis under the guidance of senior engineers. - Execute routine maintenance tasks, configuration updates, and platform housekeeping duties. - Adhere to GCP and DIT best practices for security, reliability, and cost-awareness. - Assist in monitoring AI and data workloads in production environments, focusing on performance and reliability. - Validate data flow and flag issues within data ingestion and processing pipelines (e.g., Pub/Sub, Dataflow). - Engage in evergreening activities, including platform updates, API changes, and feature rollouts. - Help maintain consistency between development, staging, and production environments. - Gradually assume responsibility for defined technical tasks and services for assigned clients. - Participate in client communications and reviews alongside senior team members to build confidence and communication skills. - Document procedures, runbooks, and operational processes to enhance service delivery. - Collaborate with internal delivery, cloud, and security teams to ensure high-quality service provision. - Participate in on-call or after-hours support rotations when needed.
