Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a related discipline
- 2-5 years of engineering experience
- 3-5 years of application experience
- A minimum of 3 years working with material handling equipment systems
- Familiarity with MBSE tools (SysML)
- Experience with Requirements Engineering tools such as DOORS, PTC RV&S, or Siemens Teamcenter
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; software programming experience is an advantage
- Background in Material Handling Automation equipment like AGVs, Pallet Conveyors, Industrial Trucks, or AS/RS
- Knowledge of WMS, WCS, or Control Level Software
- Proven ability to apply advanced knowledge in specialization
- Exhibit understanding of business practices and challenges
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
- Strong organizational capabilities
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Capacity to thrive under high-pressure situations
- Architectural knowledge across electrical, mechanical, and software domains
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Willingness to travel up to 30%, including internationally
Responsibilities
- Lead the conceptual and architectural development of hardware and software systems, working closely with specialists from both fields
- Collect, analyze, and manage system requirements to ensure alignment with client needs
- Promote standardization of system architecture and relevant interfaces to maximize synergy across solutions
- Define system specifications to guide implementation and testing teams
- Serve as the technical linchpin, facilitating knowledge transfer among various technical fields
- Employ functional modeling tools (e.g., SysML Modeller) and MBSE methodologies to document and enhance architectural strategies
