Requirements
Must:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related engineering discipline
- Fundamental understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Educational background in Java EE
- Basic comprehension of at least one operating system
- Hands-on experience in software development and IT is preferred
- Knowledge and experience with relational databases is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Contribute to creating effective solutions for intricate material handling and logistics projects
- Establish a professional software development environment using standard technology stack and tools
- Write, configure, and conduct unit testing on software code
- Develop test scripts and assist with functional validation tests using software emulation tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to enhance features and functionalities
- Apply operations research principles to optimize warehouse execution workflows
- Help in translating logistics and material handling processes into clear software requirements and configuration inputs
- Construct simple analytical or simulation models to assess system behavior, support feature design, and confirm throughput assumptions
- Potential to travel across North America for customer site validations and testing
