Requirements
Must:
- 4–8+ years of experience in systems engineering, ERP engineering, or a related field
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite development (SuiteScript 2.x necessary)
- Proficient in programming, particularly with Python; knowledge of additional scripting languages is beneficial
- Solid understanding of database design and data modeling
- Familiarity with APIs and system integrations
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals and identity/access management
- Understanding of DevOps principles and version control methodologies
- Experience managing Microsoft Azure environments
- Capability to independently investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex system challenges
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve core business systems, primarily NetSuite and Microsoft Azure infrastructure
- Architect, develop, and manage NetSuite customizations using SuiteScript 2.x
- Design workflows, custom records, and scalable data structures
- Create and sustain integrations utilizing REST/SOAP APIs and middleware
- Write and uphold backend automation scripts (Python or similar)
- Enhance NetSuite performance and ensure data integrity
- Develop reporting structures to support decision-making processes
- Collaborate with Operations and Sales to refine process flow and mitigate hurdles
- Administer and optimize Microsoft Azure infrastructure
- Oversee Azure AD/Entra ID, RBAC, and governance of identities
- Implement secure cloud architecture and best practices
- Formulate strategies for backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity
- Utilize DevOps concepts such as CI/CD, version control, and automated deployments
- Monitor system performance and implement observability practices
- Design clean, maintainable, and well-documented solutions
- Apply database fundamentals for schema design, indexing, and query optimization
- Conduct root cause analysis across application and infrastructure layers
- Automate to reduce manual work
- Maintain documentation for architecture and technical standards
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and systems
