Requirements
Must:
- 18+ years of experience in enterprise software architecture and IT systems, with significant recent experience (4+ years) in architecting AI/ML solutions and platforms
- Extensive hands-on experience with contemporary AI technologies including large language models, generative AI platforms, machine learning frameworks, and AI agent architectures
- Expert knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) as well as their AI/ML services, API design, microservices architecture, containerization, and modern software development practices
- Proven analytical and technical thinking abilities across multiple responsibilities, along with a demonstrated track record of defining technical strategy and leading enterprise-level AI initiatives
- Strong communication skills with the capacity to convey technical vision to diverse audiences, including technical teams and C-level executives
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (preferred)
- Experience in establishing AI Centers of Excellence or leading enterprise AI transformation initiatives (preferred)
- Familiarity with enterprise AI governance frameworks and responsible AI practices (preferred)
- Certifications in cloud platforms, enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF), or AI/ML specializations (preferred)
- US Citizenship or Green Card Holder required
Responsibilities
- Build an AI Center of Excellence from the ground up, establishing foundational AI capabilities to support enterprise-wide AI transformation
- Define and drive the technical vision and architecture for enterprise AI platforms, ensuring they align with business transformation goals and future scalability needs
- Develop and maintain the enterprise AI technology roadmap, harmonizing innovation with practical implementation and organizational readiness
- Assess emerging AI technologies, platforms, and frameworks to guide strategic technology decisions
- Design comprehensive AI solutions that tackle complex business problems, paying attention to integration points, data flows, security considerations, and operational constraints
- Outline the technical architecture for enterprise AI platforms, including model deployment infrastructure, orchestration frameworks, and observability tools
- Collaborate with governance teams to translate AI policies into technical controls and architectural safeguards
- Partner with cross-functional business stakeholders, product leaders, and data science teams to comprehend requirements and convert them into technical solutions
- Mentor and guide technical teams on AI architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices in implementation
- Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadership
