Senior Forward Deployed Engineer, Microsoft AI

- Collaborate closely with senior functional and technical client teams to rapidly prototype and implement high-impact GenAI solutions - Embed with clients to identify their business needs and convert high-value GenAI use cases into effective solutions - Coordinate with leaders, product owners, architects, and engineers to align priorities and streamline delivery - Facilitate working sessions to design solutions and achieve client objectives - Independently create and deliver AI solutions while mentoring newer team members within the FDE pod - Provide coaching to client teams and end-users on platform capabilities and AI enablement, fostering trusted relationships and managing expectations - Support end-to-end sales and delivery by developing demonstrations, contributing to proposals, articulating business value, and ensuring smooth handoff for knowledge transfer - Enhance team impact by mentoring other FDEs through design and code reviews, and contributing reusable components to intellectual capital - Develop AI-enabled solutions and workflows across enterprise AI platforms, ensuring scalability - Create scalable AI engineering patterns, tools, and human-in-the-loop controls - Make architecture decisions that balance quality, safety, latency, cost, and model risk - Deliver production-quality code while following best practices in testing, CI/CD, logging, and documentation - Design extensible functionalities and support sprint sizing while aligning solutions with senior team members - Contribute reusable assets such as code libraries, runbooks, and reference implementations
