Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a STEM field (Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, etc.) or equivalent experience
- Over 4 years of experience in data engineering, data science, software engineering, MLOps focusing on AI and Machine Learning deployment
- More than 4 years of experience in designing cloud solutions and supporting production projects, including hands-on experience with AWS services (or equivalents such as Azure, GCP)
- 4+ years of programming experience with Linux Shell/CLI, Python, SQL, PowerShell, etc.
- At least 2 years of experience in managing teams in technical delivery and executing complex projects
- 2+ years of experience in DevOps and utilizing CI/CD services such as Puppet, Ansible, Chef, Airflow, Terraform, Jenkins
- 2+ years of experience with database development and ETL/ELT pipelines (including relational, NoSQL, Neo4j)
- 2+ years of experience with deployment and optimization involving technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, NVIDIA TensorRT/Triton, RAPIDs, Kubeflow, MLflow, Kafka, etc.
- Reside within commuting distance to one of Deloittes consulting offices
- Willing to travel around 10%, depending on project requirements and client sectors
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to design, develop, and implement new architectures to facilitate machine learning and automation applications
- Utilize advanced technical abilities in modern data architecture, data science engineering, data transformation, and manage both structured and unstructured data sources using cloud or on-premises technologies
- Create and guide the development of scalable, high-performance data architecture solutions addressing both client needs and AI/GenAI use cases
- Enhance data architecture and data pipelines, and establish database schemas (including Graph, SQL, NoSQL) to develop algorithm scalability and deployment centered on agile business priorities
- Engage in architectural and deployment discussions to ensure solutions are designed for optimal scale, security, and reliability in both cloud and on-prem environments
- Implement best engineering practices in automation, HPC, and AI/GenAI infrastructure and design frameworks
- Define and lead technology proof of concepts to validate new data and cloud technology solutions
- Exhibit strong thought leadership and execution in advancing modern data architecture principles and technology evolution
- Mentor and inspire junior team members on technical best practices and professional development
