Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree plus 13 years of experience or Masters degree with 5+ years of experience - Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with a CI Poly - Willingness to travel approximately 25% depending on project requirements and client needs - Residing in the St. Louis, Missouri or Norfolk, Virginia area and available for onsite work five days a week - IAT LEVEL III certification (CASP, CISA, CISSP, GCED, or GCIH) - Over 8 years of experience with network routers, switch networking, network firewalls, and cyber network security - Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship, now or in the future

Responsibilities

- Conduct Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) functions for infrastructure and applications related to cybersecurity WAN risk assessments - Serve as a JCIP Technical Reviewer, assessing the cybersecurity posture of enterprise environments across the Intelligence Community (IC) - Perform thorough technical assessments and detailed analyses of vulnerability scans to ensure compliance with relevant security directives and standards - Execute manual audits and vulnerability assessments on various network devices including routers, switches, and firewalls - Examine network configurations, access controls, routing protocols, and security measures to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities - Interpret complex STIG requirements and offer practical recommendations for enhancing network security - Collaborate with network engineering teams, system administrators, and leadership to discuss findings, risk assessments, and mitigation plans - Mentor Level 1 inspectors on networking evaluations and reporting - Keep abreast of emerging network threats, industry best practices, and advancements in network security technologies - Participate in the planning, execution, and reporting processes for inspections - Travel as necessary to support onsite inspections at multiple IC locations (average of 8-12 weeks of travel, including potential international travel)
