Lead Deployed Engineer, Microsoft AI & Data

- Serve as a senior client-facing leader, fostering trusted advisor relationships with client product, data, and platform executives. - Lead high-level discovery sessions, establishing success metrics (quality, latency, cost, adoption, risk) and a phased approach from prototype to full production and scaling. - Navigate organizational dynamics and inspire alignment among executive sponsors, IT leaders, and business stakeholders around a collective vision. - Represent our Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) capabilities in client pursuits, executive briefings, and partnership engagements, aiding in pipeline development and deal structuring. - Manage FDE pods consisting of 2-5 onshore anchored and offshore supported engineers, ensuring execution, resource allocation, escalation resolution, and overall project health. - Enforce delivery standards throughout the pod, including sprint schedules, communication plans, risk management, and quality checkpoints. - Coordinate multi-pod or multi-stream engagements, ensuring a consistent architectural approach and client experience. - Mentor and cultivate junior FDE team members. - Design and oversee the implementation of LLM-driven applications, including copilots, agentic workflows, assistant features, and knowledge search functionalities using one or multiple enterprise AI platforms. - Set guidelines for prompt design, tool utilization patterns, and human-in-the-loop processes. - Guide the end-to-end RAG pipeline design, ensuring production-grade quality and scalability, covering aspects such as data ingestion, chunking, embedding, vector retrieval, and hybrid search. - Develop evaluation frameworks that address quality, hallucination risk, safety, latency, cost, and governance, ensuring adherence to engineering quality standards.
