Requirements
Must:
- Over 3 years of experience in software, systems, or embedded engineering.
- More than 3 years of experience working with Java/J2EE.
- At least 3 years of experience in developing or deploying AI solutions, custom hardware, or high-performance platforms.
- Over 3 years of experience with Linux internals, device drivers, and programming in kernel or embedded systems.
- Proficient in C/C++ and Python; familiarity with Go or Rust is a bonus.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and ONNX, as well as performance/model optimization.
- Familiarity with hardware-software co-design (ASICs, FPGAs, or SoCs).
- Proven ability in performance profiling, benchmarking, and system tuning.
- Knowledge of distributed systems, cloud/edge computing, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Understanding of network protocols, security best practices, and scalable API design.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps methodologies.
- Background in Agile/Scrum development teams, with participation in sprint planning, code reviews, and collaborative solution development.
- A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be provided.
- Willingness to travel approximately 10%, depending on client needs and projects.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our AI and Systems Co-Design team to forge pioneering software and hardware technologies for AI and next-generation consumer devices.
- As a consultant, contribute to designing, building, and optimizing foundational tools and applications that support cutting-edge AI platforms and smart devices.
- Engage cross-functionally to address large-scale technical challenges and deliver innovative solutions with a global impact.
- Design, develop, and elevate scalable software for AI platforms and consumer devices.
- Implement and automate load, stress, and real-user scenario testing throughout the development and production cycles.
- Analyze, monitor, and resolve performance, reliability, and scalability issues in intricate systems.
- Work in tandem with engineers on custom hardware, embedded systems, and cloud infrastructure.
- Apply advanced profiling, benchmarking, and system optimization techniques.
- Contribute to solution architecture, API design, security, and system integration.
- Maintain regular communication with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and/or technical teams, while escalating important issues as needed.
- Independently and collaboratively steer client engagement workstreams aimed at enhancing and transforming processes by implementing best practice workflows, addressing quality deficits, and driving operational results.

The salary range for this position reflects a variety of factors taken into account when making compensation decisions, including skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and other organizational needs. Typically, new hires are not brought in at or near the top of the pay range for their role, as compensation decisions are made based on individual circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is between $86,400 and $141,000. You may also have the opportunity to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the program’s governing rules, whereby awards depend on various factors, including both individual and organizational performance.
