Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor’s degree with 13 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with over 5 years of experience
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with a CI Poly
- Willingness to travel approximately 25% for client-related activities
- Located in St. Louis, Missouri or Norfolk, Virginia and able to work onsite five days a week
- IAT Level III certification (CASP, CISA, CISSP, GCED, or GCIH)
- Over 8 years of experience with VMware ESX, Microsoft Hyper-V, KVM Hypervisor, and Dell/EMC ScaleIO
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
Responsibilities
- Conduct Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) for infrastructure and applications, focusing on cybersecurity WAN risk assessments
- Evaluate cybersecurity measures for enterprise environments across the Intelligence Community
- Perform thorough technical assessments and analyze vulnerability scans to ensure compliance with relevant security guidelines
- Conduct manual audits of virtualized infrastructure platforms and network-attached storage (NAS) in Intelligence Community settings
- Assess adherence to IC Directives, STIGs, SRGs, and NIST 800-53/800-171 controls related to virtualization and storage systems
- Execute independent manual STIG checklist reviews for leading virtualization technologies and devices
- Analyze risks and potential attack vectors related to virtualized environments and storage architectures
- Provide technical recommendations to enhance the security posture of virtual infrastructure
- Collaborate with virtualization administrators, storage teams, and management to share findings and remediation strategies
- Mentor junior IDRs in conducting inspections and risk analyses
- Stay updated on emerging threats and best practices in virtualization and storage security
- Participate in planning, execution, and reporting of inspections and deliver clear assessments
- Travel as needed to support onsite inspections, averaging 8-12 weeks per year including potential international travel
