Requirements
Must:
- Must possess a current Epic Tapestry certification
- Over 6 years of experience in designing healthcare applications
- 6+ years of experience with Epic integration preferred
- Knowledgeable in Payer/Provider applications
- Familiarity with ANSI transactions
- Experience in ITIL service methodology or Service NOW
- Understanding of HIPAA and other relevant regulations
- Basic knowledge of healthcare integration messaging formats (HL7, EDI, CSV, XML, etc.)
- Experience within the US healthcare domain and managed care settings
- Demonstrated understanding of technical documentation
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related IT field, or equivalent experience
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
- Ability to travel approximately 10% based on project demands
- Strong computer skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (preferred)
- Direct knowledge of clinical or business areas related to support (preferred)
- Current certification in Epic Inpatient ClinDoc Analytics (preferred)
- Experience in hospital or clinic operations (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Collaborate within an engagement team to support overall project objectives
- Interact with stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Perform independent tasks while providing technical guidance to team members
- Design and build health plan applications ensuring scalability, security, and regulatory compliance
- Integrate Epic Tapestry application with external systems
- Understand healthcare claims processing workflows, including eligibility, adjudication, and payment
- Participate in command center shifts to troubleshoot during go-live and address break-fix tickets
- Ensure expertise in healthcare interoperability and compliance standards such as HIPAA, HL7, and FHIR
- Lead client engagement workstreams focusing on process improvement and operational transformation
- Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers and project team members, addressing issues needing escalation
- Implement leading practice workflows and improve quality outcomes
