Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree with 13 years of experience, or a Masters degree with over 5 years of experience
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with a CI Poly
- Ability to travel 25% on average, depending on client work and sectors served
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without future employer sponsorship
- Local to the St. Louis, Missouri or Norfolk, VA areas, available for on-site work 5 days a week
- IAT Level III certification (CASP, CISA, CISSP, GCED, or GCIH)
- At least 8 years of experience with cloud infrastructure, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
Responsibilities
- Conduct Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) for cybersecurity infrastructure and applications
- Assess the security posture of cloud environments within the Intelligence Community (IC)
- Perform thorough technical assessments and analyze cloud configurations, access controls, and security baselines
- Ensure compliance with Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), Technical Implementation Guides (TIGs), and NIST 800-53 rev 5 security controls
- Independently evaluate cloud infrastructure and platform security settings across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
- Collaborate closely with cloud service administrators and leadership to schedule and execute security inspections
- Interview cloud engineers and security teams to validate compliance with specific security guidelines
- Analyze cloud risk exposures connected to identity and access management, data protection, logging, monitoring, and incident response
- Prepare detailed assessment reports and present findings to both technical teams and leadership
- Stay informed about emerging cloud security trends and new technologies
