Technical Staff - ALM & DevOps

- Define and refine high availability, disaster recovery, and scaling architectures across all ALM tools - Develop topology-aware designs and consistently assess and enhance platform scalability, performance, and resilience - Establish consistent patterns for identity management, observability, role-based access control/entitlements, and secure-by-default deployments - Ensure that all tool services comply with strict standards for availability, reliability, and stability - Define and implement service level indicators (SLIs), service level objectives (SLOs), error budgets, and operational key performance indicators (KPIs) for each tool - Execute applied observability strategies, including actionable metrics, logs, traces, alerts, and dashboards tailored to each platform - Lead investigations into root causes, manage incidents, and continuously reduce mean time to detect (MTTD) and mean time to recover (MTTR) - Architect Okta integrations across tools, comprising SAML/OIDC/SCIM, entitlement frameworks, group/role mapping, and ensuring auditability - Ensure adherence to security controls, including hardening, secrets management, vulnerability remediation, and audit preparedness - Drive enhancements in the high-value application program for tools, such as threat modeling, implementing compensating controls, and conducting disaster recovery testing - Participate in assessments and planning for Product Quality Control readiness - Spearhead automation of infrastructure, upgrades, backups/restores, and operational workflows using tools like Terraform, Ansible, GitOps, and APIs - Create scalable and repeatable patterns for build pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions, along with managing artifact governance with Artifactory - Collaborate closely with subject matter experts and engineering teams to standardize continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD), improve reliability, and minimize operational overhead - Provide guidance across engineering, infrastructure, and security teams to influence architectural and platform decisions - Mentor architects, principals, and staff engineers; develop reference architectures and operational best practices - Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to enhance capabilities and ensure the sustainability of the platform
