Requirements
Must:
- Knowledge of Intel-based architecture
- Familiarity with hard drives, SSDs, DIMMs, and/or other storage devices
- Proficient in hardware, software, and/or operating systems environments
- Experience in networking
- Skilled in at least one of C/C++, Java, or Python; eager to learn across the stack
- 2+ years of relevant experience with a bachelors degree; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
- Assist the hardware architecture team in delivering a high-quality, complex storage appliance with top-notch features
- Collaborate cross-functionally to track, manage, and resolve design issues for new product introductions and in-market activities
- Evaluate hardware components (drives, DIMMs, cables, switches, etc.), firmware, and/or software
- Load, configure, test, and support unstructured storage appliance clusters
- Facilitate platform engineering development and test environments to support performance assessments, customer failure replication, network configuration, and hardware component qualification
- Help with the physical installation and setup of hardware in our Massachusetts development and testing environments (Hopkinton and Franklin)
