Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a similar field
- 5-8 years of demonstrated experience with enterprise-level embedded systems, such as storage arrays and distributed systems
- Proficiency in object-oriented design, with strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python, and debugging skills using gdb
- Solid experience with Linux and Windows kernel programming
- Capability to code and debug intricate programs within a large and complex codebase, using both written and verbal design specifications
- Understanding of storage protocols (like NFS, CIFS, iSCSI) is a plus
- Knowledge and experience in file systems and data recovery development is desirable
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data path software for Dells storage products within a collaborative scrum team environment
- Contribute to the design and architecture of new features based on customer and product owner requirements
- Create and review design, functional, technical, and user documentation as needed
- Generate, review, and execute test cases for software products and systems
- Diagnose and resolve various issues identified during testing and in customer scenarios
